Recently, a draft for comments has been released at the website of Hangzhou Municipal Government, saying that Hangzhou would encourage government departments, public institutions, and state-owned enterprises to adopt intelligent robots to improve production efficiency and to apply smart products such as humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and interpretive robots.

Hangzhou is set to build the innovative development system led by the humanoid robot. It tends to support enterprises in developing MEMS attitude sensors, tactile sensors, integrated joints, mechanical arms, dexterous hands, and other core smart components.

In the future, these intelligent machines are expected to be applied in five fields, including intelligent manufacturing, cultural tourism and education & entertainment, life service, medical treatment & wellness, and urban construction & governance.
