According to the latest news on two high-speed railways departing from Hangzhou, Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway is expected to be open to traffic in August this year, while Hangzhou-Quzhou High-speed Railway by the end of June next year.

Spanning 260 km with a designated speed of 350 km per hour, Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway is set to become the fastest high-speed rail line connecting Hangzhou and Wenzhou. It is connected to Huzhou-Hangzhou Section of Hefei-Hangzhou High-speed Railway in Tonglu. Given that, at Hangzhouxi Railway Station, passengers can take a train to some southern cities like Fujian, and Guangdong.

Hangzhou-Quzhou High-speed Railway spans 131 km with a designed speed of 350 km per hour. Therefore, the trip from Hangzhou to Quzhou will take only 40 minutes. And it is connected to multiple high-speed railways, for which it is convenient for passengers to take trains from Hangzhou to Changsha, Kunming, Shenzhen, and Wuhan.
