The phenomenon demonstrates the pulse of China's strong economy and the Chinese people's growing cultural confidence. Our reporter Zhou Yixin visits Hangzhou to explore the impact of new Chinese style in the fashion industry. 

Recently, while walking around the streets in China, you might have noticed that many women are wearing outfits which incorporate traditional Chinese elements. You would also easily spot the trend from the attires of a lot of Chinese celebrities and internet video bloggers.

This trend is called "Xin Zhong Shi", or new Chinese style. How does it influence the fashion industry? And what is behind this trend? I travel to the city of Hangzhou, China's famous historical and cultural city, to explore new Chinese style's influence.
