On March 26, over 50 Delegation from the Public Economics and Executive Management Training Program of King Prajadhipok's Institute (KPI) came to Hangzhou for exchange. These Thai government officials and private sector executives visited Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre and Future Sci-tech City, carried out on-site tours for the enterprises in Hangzhou, such as Alibaba and Yowant, and enjoyed a wonderful trip at the West Lake, Lingyin Temple, and other scenic spots, fully experiencing the beautiful natural scenery of Hangzhou of nature, history, culture and business innovation.
The delegation visited Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, the venue for the Opening & Closing Ceremonies and athletics of the Hangzhou Asian Games, and was impressed by the architectural crafts and modern facilities of the complex.
Then arrived at Future Sci-tech City's exhibition hall, our Thai friends were well introduced to the City's development, geographical advantages, industrial layout, governmental support, and talent policy. For the past ten years, the City was a womb for business. Embraced by the City's innovative and pioneering air, the heads of Thailand left their praises and inquired about specific investment and talent policies here.
Alibaba Xixi Park is a place for scientific and technological drivers. The smart headquarters themselves are witnesses of the company's success, entrepreneurship, and examples of its business model and global strategy.
Amazed by Alibaba's marketing and commercial influence in e-commerce worldwide, the visitors hoped to build a full-linked service in Thailand, with the inspiration of Alibaba's data-driven strategy, platform thinking, and innovative experience to expand their businesses and to bring new momentum to Thailand's e-commerce.
Being their last stop, Yowant Headquarters was waiting for the delegation's observation, and was open to experience exchange and business negotiation. Recently, live streaming has almost taken over the e-commerce sector, and Yowant, a technological company with sharp marketing sense, has led the e-commerce live streaming. With an exchange symposium, the delegation wanted to know more about today's business from the leader. They hoped to communicate more with China's e-commerce enterprises digging deep into live streaming, to study their operational model, and to bridge future cooperation.
Professor Praipol Koomsup, the head of the delegation and the chairperson of the KPI Public Economic Policy Implementation Committee, appreciated the friendship between Thailand and China, a tie to close economic and trade cooperation, and praised China's development in electric vehicles. He looked forward to future cooperation and hoped more of his people would come to Hangzhou to see its development and feel its vitality. What a comment to end the trip.
