Hangzhou International Airport witnessed a surge in activity during the Qingming Festival holiday.

Statistics reveal that during the holiday from April 4 to 6, the number of inbound and outbound flights at the airport exceeded 220, 20 percent more than last year.

The maximum daily passenger flow exceeded 16,000 people, with a total flow of nearly 40,000 people over the holiday period. The number of inbound passengers from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan exceeded 7,000, while outbound travelers to popular destinations such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand exceeded 12,000.

Additionally, thanks to the favorable visa-free policies, the number of passengers from countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland, as well as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand has significantly increased. From March 14 to April 6, the number of visa-exempt inbound passengers exceeded 7,000, a 12-fold increase.

Passenger flow data indicates that the peak periods for inbound and outbound passengers at Hangzhou airport's T4 terminal during the holiday occurred on April 5. The peak hours for outbound passengers were mainly from 7:30 to 8:30, 15:00 to 16:00, and 20:30 to 21:30, while for inbound passengers, they occurred from 13:30 to 14:30 and 20:30 to 21:30.
