Spring is in full bloom at the Tulip Exhibition at Prince Bay Park, which will run till April 14. With a stunning array of 400,000 bulbs across 8,000 square meters, including tulips, daffodils, and anemones.
This year, get ready for unique newcomers like the 'Bathtub' tulip (yep, that's its real name!) with its rare gray-purple elegance, the 'San Leandro' with classic red and white edges, the 'Bike' tulip that looks like curled leaves, and many more. And don't miss the parrot series – 'Pink Parrot', 'Magical Parrot', 'Pirate Parrot' – and fiery blooms like 'Burning Flame' and 'Fire Kirin'.

To ensure a safe and orderly experience at this year's event, the measures like time-slot reservations and a combined land-water transportation approach are adopted like previous years.
Booking your spot is easy-peasy – just reserve online via the official WeChat accounts or apps, and choose from multiple entry points to avoid the rush. Remember, parking’s tight, especially on weekends and holidays, so going green with public transport is your best bet.
Prince Bay Park will regulate the number of visitors through time-slotted reservations divided into five two-hour periods throughout the day. Visitors can easily reserve entry times online through the official WeChat accounts for 'Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area'“杭州西湖风景名胜区), 'Fenghuangshan Management Office' (凤凰山管理处), and through various mini-programs. Reservations are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for same-day bookings for up to three people.
The crowd can be overwhelming, even on weekdays. This year introduces special bus and water bus lines, forming an exclusive 'land-water transportation circle' from March 8 to April 14. The water bus, as reviewed by Hangzhoufeel, offers scenic views without the traffic jams, operating two routes with boats departing based on passenger volume, ensuring a smooth ride for everyone.
There are two water bus routes available:
1. A round trip between Qianwang Temple Wharf and Flower Pond Wharf.
2. A round trip from Hangfan Wharf to Flower Pond Wharf.
Operating hours for Qianwang Temple and Hangfan Wharf are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while Flower Pond Wharf operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Please note:
Boats leave every half-hour and hour, and they depart as soon as they are full, with no mid-way stops.
The first boat will leave within half an hour of the first ticket purchase, departing as soon as it fills up.
Ticket prices are as follows:
For adults, tickets are 15 yuan per person, per trip. Children under 1.2 meters tall ride for free when accompanied by an adult. Children between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters tall get a 50% discount.
Residents of Hangzhou can buy discounted tickets at 5 yuan per person, per trip, with a valid ID.
