As the micro-short plays have been a hit these days, districts, counties and cities in Hangzhou are striving to take measures and give subsidies to fuel the development of micro-short plays, eying earning a spot in this new cultural industry.

Xihu District sets up the micro-short plays review sub-center, and issues a subsidy of 100,000 yuan for each work.

Qiantang District is home to many micro-short plays industries. The industry scale in the first three quarters was nearly 10 billion yuan, accounting for about one fourth of the city's revenue.

Binjiang District becomes a new distribution center of micro-short plays, and many enterprises have offered high salaries to recruit relevant talents.

Yuhang District is set to build a film & TV base with a total investment of 2.03 billion yuan, and offers funds of 200 million yuan to support creation of micro-short plays.

Linping District releases a new support policy with a total investment of 300 million yuan, in a bid to build a national famous city of micro-short plays, and to drive better creations.
