Recently, Hangzhou has started an activity to encourage spring tours with its characteristic scenery along three rivers including Xin'an River, Fuchun River and Qiantang River, in a bid to improve reputation of these new landmarks in Hangzhou and to fuel tourism.

Hangzhou releases 10 tourist routes featuring activities like appreciating flowers like peach blossoms or cole flowers, tasting Longjing Tea, doing outdoor sports like cycling around Qiandao Lake), and ancient town tours, to provide tourists with travel tips.

In addition, Hangzhou announces a plan of "traveling in Hangzhou through sports events", in a bid to encourage tourists to enjoy sports, and to boost the integration of culture, sports, and tourism.
