2024 Zhejiang Activity of "International Day of Zero Waste" was held in Hangzhou on March 30.

As China's first province to build a zero-waste city in all districts and cities, Zhejiang rolls out an zero-waste construction report dubbed Zero-waste Asian Games Evaluation Achievements, and two guidelines including Zhejiang Zero-waste Sporting Event Action Guide and Zero-waste Business District Construction Guide.

An exhibition highlighting zero waste initiatives was held, showcasing Hangzhou’s experience in waste reduction in four aspects such as life, production, culture, and science & technology.

The activity aims to promote green development, attracting more people to take actions to promote zero-waste initiatives for a better future.
