Liuhe Pagoda in Hangzhou has held an annual peony exhibition since March 29.
The peony exhibition is a tradition that is inspired by a tradition of “Appreciating Peonies” for refined scholars in Hangzhou during the Song Dynasty.
At present, 30 percent of 180 kinds of peonies on display are in bloom, and they are expected to be in full blossom period during the Tomb-sweeping Day.
The peony exhibition lasts for 18 days, during which there are activities like a music performance, a fair, a livestreaming activity, and a hand making activity.
