The fungus shaped like a wine cup was first discovered in Tianzhong Mountain, featuring soft nature and small size, mainly growing on withered branches of broad-leaved trees.
This one-year survey records 161 macrofungal species, and discovers 2 new species, 3 newly recorded species of China, 12 Chinese endemic species, and 66 newly recorded species native to Hangzhou.
This discovery enriches the global biodiversity and justifies a favorable ecological environment in Fuyang District.
