Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway started the first trial operation on March 26.

With a total length of about 125 km and a designed speed of 350 km/h, Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway is the last section of Wuhan-Hangzhou High-speed Railway that is open to traffic. Wuhan-Hangzhou High-speed Railway is composed of Wuhan-Huanggang Intercity Railway, Huanggang-Huangmei High-speed Railway, Anqing-Jiujiang High-speed Railway, Nanjing-Anqing Intercity Railway, Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway, and Hangzhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway, connecting connecting a series of popular tourist attractions like Yellow Crane Tower, West Lake, Mount Huang, Taiping Lake, Jiuhua Mountain, Tianzhu Mountain , which is poised to boost the development of tourism and other industries.

Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway provides convenience for Hangzhou's tourists to visit scenic areas. Along the way, Huangshanxi Railway Station is less than 10 km from Mount Huang Scenic Area, and Jiuhuashan Railway Station is close to Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. Compared with Huangshanbei Railway Station of Hangzhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway that has been opened, this greatly shortens time for tourists to travel to these scenic areas.
