The 28th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) held from 11 to 14 March has seen nearly 30 Hangzhou enterprises in the industry show a strong momentum and sign letters of intent for a total amount of USD 9.135 million with over 20 countries or regions.
Artificial intelligence generative content (AIGC) emerged as a prominent topic at this session of FILMART, to which Hangzhou enterprises take as great opportunity in the film industry. "Don't panic or feel scared. We have been working hard to train our AI by inputting directions through our database, "said Fu Binxing, president of Huace Group during a discussion at FILMART. Fu said Huace has launched the Institute of AIGC Application and research and an aiding system of intellectual script evaluation with the speed of preliminary evaluation of a script in three minutes and a precise evaluation of a one- million-word script in 30 minutes. The tools derived from the AI model have seen wide applications in Huace's production teams with an accumulated working time of 2,400 hours.
