Hangzhou announced Hangzhou's Sports Event Program 2024 at a press conference on March 20. It is expected to host about 450 district-level and above sports events this year, including nearly 100 international and national events, covering 35 disciplines.

Major events include BWF World Tour Finals, ICF Hangzhou Super Cup, World Women’s Hockey Super League. In addition, nearly 200 mass events and 46 youth events will be held to offer opportunities for all groups to participate in sports events.

Multiple sports events will promote national fitness and development of sports industry, contributing to transform Hangzhou towards an international event city.
