These days, in Hangzhou, the sun is shining brightly, and scenery of spring could be seen here and there. There are three running routes with charming scenery as followed:

Classic West Lake Run

Distance: 12 km

West Lake Run is a classic route for fitness enthusiasts in Hangzhou. This route passes through most attractions included in Top Ten Scenes of West Lake, with smooth pavement, suitable for beginners.

Binjiang Cherry Blossom Runway

Distance:17.4 km

Binjiang Cherry Blossom Runway is located beside Qiantang River. Cherry blossoms and urban riverside landscapes along the way are enchanting. From late March to early April, it is recommended to run during off-peak hours in the morning and evening.

Along the Canal

Distance: 12 km

This route is located beside the canal. The footpath is mostly paved with stone slabs, and there are many stairs, no good for beginners. Thereinto, warm-up and stretching exercise before and after running are necessary.
