On March 19, Cainiao and AliExpress held a press conference in Hangzhou, announcing the upgrading of "five-day global delivery" service to promote new growth in cross-border e-commerce.

The newly added countries involved in the service include Germany, France, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, USA, and Mexico.

According to data from Cainiao, this service achieved the triple-digit growth in the third quarter of 2023. Faster logistics and better services greatly drive consumption. AliExpress’s number of orders in December rose 60 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
