During the ongoing two sessions this year, "artificial intelligence (AI)" has been mentioned in the Government Work Report for the first time. The sub-district in Hangzhou also began to explore AI-empowering industries.

Cuiyuan Sub-district of Hangzhou introduced the first "AI + Social Work" system of China, to combine artificial intelligence with community work. Through the AI capacity & knowledge database, the system can provide suggestions, solutions, and steps to solve problems, and help social workers to improve their efficiency. For example, the plan in the format of PPT that needs to take several hours in the past, can be completed within 10 minutes now. 

This will greatly enhance the service ability of social workers. Therefore, AI is expected to be a great tool and featured image for grassroots governance in Hangzhou and even in Zhejiang.
