Fuyang District in Hangzhou plans to build a national papermaking museum on Sizhou Papermaking Site, one of the largest and highest-level existing papermaking sites of China with the most complete technical process, which reflects the prosperity of the traditional papermaking process of Fuyang in the Song Dynasty.

The appearance of the museum will imitate the pattern of paper and clouds floating among hills. At present, the construction of the museum has finished by 30%. The entire construction project is scheduled to be completed in October, 2026.
