In the list of Hangzhou’s Total Retail Sales of Consumer Goods 2023, Gongshu ranks first, followed by Shangcheng and Xiaoshan. This year, all districts and counties will take extraordinary moves in consumption, striving for better achievements.

Xiaoshan became the fifth “powerful district in total retail sales of consumer goods” with sales of 100.62 billion yuan. New energy vehicles were the main force of consumption in Xiaoshan.

Gongshu took first place in Zhejiang by depending on four major consumption core business districts and holding consumption activities. Henglong Square and Hangzhou Kerry Plaza will be commercial highlights.

Shangcheng was Hangzhou’s first “double 100 billion” district in online retail sales and total retail sales of consumer goods. The consumption of major business areas has rebounded. This year, it plans to expand the influence of Hubin CBD and Qianjiang New City CBD, and construct four major CBDs with urban characteristics including Wushan, Wangjiang, Jianghehui, and Hangzhoudong Station Hub.

Yuhang is building a new urban center of Hangzhou. It plans to create a commercial circle within two years, and establish an international high-level business district service system by 2035.
