The Waking of Insects falls on March 5. Tea farmers in Wengjiashan Village of Hangzhou held a traditional activity of "shouting in mountains" in the tea garden.

Tea farmers shouted, "Tea, please sprout!", to pray for a good harvest of West Lake Longjing Tea this year.

As temperature rises, the tea is about to sprout. The tea farmers start to do some preparatory jobs like polishing their frying pans, debugging machines, and cleaning bamboo strips for tea making.
