Hangzhou Zoo organized an event titled Building a Smart Conservation System for Wildlife to commemorate the 11th World Wildlife Day on March 3.
Through lively and engaging interactions, participants gained insights into wildlife and delved into the world of animals.
"Why do deer species have antlers? Do all deer species have them? Let's explore the world of deer together and learn about these adorable creatures!" In the lecture hall of the visitor service center at Hangzhou Zoo, guides gave an educational lecture on animal science for both children and adults, offering a glimpse into the fascinating world of fauna.
Additionally, a science exhibition titled Year of the Dragon attracted the attention of many visitors by creatively combining dragons with lizards, showcasing the wonders of the lizard suborder to the audience. Interactive activities were also available, allowing participants to receive exclusive stamps by correctly answering questions.
Hangzhou boasts numerous ancient trees, which serve as living witnesses of the city's history. At the event, Hangzhou Zoo staff distributed free guidebooks for a city-walk route featuring the trees, encouraging everyone to explore the city's remarkable arboreal heritage.
