A few days ago, Hangzhou announced that it would build Hangzhou New Center Core Area (Central Axis) into a world-class urban center in Yuhang District. It is 2.5 km long, spanning about 1.55 square kilometers. It is another urban development center with integration of commerce, entertainment, shopping, culture, public facilities, and administrative organs. 

This area extends northward to Hangzhouxi Railway Station and Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, and is connected southward to an international sports center with a 60,000-seat football pitch. It is set to be home to global research headquarters of national smartphone giants like vivo and OPPO.
