In order to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival, Hangzhou's West Lake Scenic Area has prepared wonderful celebrations to let tourists spend a festive and joyful day. 

Hangzhou Citizen Orchid Festival will be held in Guo's Villa, a famous spot in the West Lake Scenic Area, with about 400 pots of exquisite orchids on display. In addition, some traditional activities, such as guessing lantern riddles and watching lanterns, will be held here.

Yangmeiling, another scenic spot in the West Lake Scenic Area, will host a characteristic lantern show. Citizens can appreciate lanterns, read poems, and taste Longjing Tea to feel the charm of Hangzhou's traditional culture.

Moreover, there are many cultural interaction activities. Hangzhou Botanical Garden will conduct a woodblock printing experience activity. Han Meilin Art Museum will hold an activity of guessing lantern riddles. Qianwang Temple will hold a flower show and a color seal collection activity of the Year of the Dragon.
