Hangzhou's "2024 Spring Talent Recruitment Month" commenced on Feb 19, with over 800 companies participating and offering more than 20,000 jobs.

In addition to frontline workers, Hangzhou-based enterprises were actively seeking high-level research and development talent. Over 3,000 positions in fields such as intelligent technology, green low-carbon, and biopharmaceuticals were on offer, reflecting the city's eagerness to attract top talent.

According to officials from the Hangzhou municipal human resources and social security bureau, through March 28, the city will host 16 in-person job fairs, with thousands of companies set to offer tens of thousands of jobs.

Scheduled events include specialized job fairs focusing on digital economy, high-end equipment, and intelligent manufacturing, as well as sessions dedicated to doctoral and postdoctoral talent and university graduates.

The largest event, scheduled for Feb 25 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, will see over 880 companies offering more than 20,000 jobs.
