The Hangzhou municipal bureau of human resources and social security is offering subsidies to enterprises chartering buses for employees to return to work after the Spring Festival.

To qualify, the enterprises must be registered and pay taxes in Hangzhou.

According to an official from the municipal bureau, from Feb 10 to 24, enterprises organizing chartered buses to help non-Hangzhou residents to return to work across provinces will receive a subsidy equivalent to 50 percent of the charter fee, with a maximum subsidy of 200,000 yuan ($27,826) per enterprise.

"Each bus must carry no fewer than 20 employees," the official said, stating that eligible enterprises can apply on the official website of the bureau and must provide their car rental contract and invoice.

The rental contract should include information such as the charter unit, number of vehicles, price, departure date, departure location, and destination. For multiple enterprises jointly chartering buses, a joint rental agreement or relevant explanation should be provided. The application period for the subsidy is from Feb 26 to March 31.
