On February 17, a grand bench dragon dance show was held in Jinjia Village, Fuchunjiang Town, Tonglu County, Hangzhou. About-200m-long bench dragon traveled around villages and fields to send blessings for Spring Festival to villagers.

Bench dragon originated in the Ming Dynasty, and is a kind of dragon dance performance, composed of 108 benches, with beautiful and lifelike appearance.

After 40 years, this folk performance reappeared, with more than 160 villagers playing roles of dragon dancers, flag bearers, lantern bearers, and people beating gongs and drums, to bring the strong atmosphere of the Spring Festival to villagers.

Many villagers came to watch the show together with their children and parents, took photos and videos, and admired this action for cultural inheritance.
