On January 25, Hangzhou International Airport opened 10 international transfer routes, including Rome-Hangzhou-Seoul Route, Seoul-Hangzhou-Sydney Route, and Moscow-Hangzhou-Osaka Route.
The transfer passengers said, "New transfer service is very convenient and saves time." The transfer hall simplifies transit process of passengers, shortens inspection time, and facilitates travel of domestic and foreign passengers.
Passengers can handle the luggage check-in procedure at the departure station, and pick up their luggage at the destination. There is no need for luggage check-in during the transfer process. The first transfer passenger completed the international customs clearance procedure in only 20 minutes, which saved nearly 100 minutes compared with the previous process.
The opening of the transfer hall is of great significance for Hangzhou International Airport to build a world-class international aviation hub.
