Qianwang (King Qian Liu) Memorial by the West Lake recently attracted many photographic enthusiasts filming wintersweet now in full blossom. 

During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Qian Liu founded the Wu Kingdom with Hangzhou as the capital. In honor of King Qian’s feats, local people built a Memorial in his name in the Northern Song period. Inside the Liulang Wenying Park, the Memorial offers different fine views for visitors to admire. In winter, the red walls of the temple and primrose yellow wintersweet in blossom combine to present a beautiful picture of classic Chinese style. 

The wintersweet inside the Memorial has come in full blossom. According to the West Lake administration authority, the blooming wintersweet has been attracting more and more tourists, approximately two to three-folds of average daily visitors. They came afar to record such lovely moments in wintertime. 

The wintersweet is expected to stay in blossom for one month. Come here in good days and engage yourself in beautiful scenes. It’s truly a masterpiece of nature.
