Kabirash Sharma, a reporter from Nepal, visited Kuahuqiao Site Museum beside Xianghu Lake of Hangzhou. When seeing the ancient canoe protected on the site, as well as the statue of production process next to it, he praised: “So nice!”

Chinese President Xi Jinping, who was once former secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, investigated Xianghu twice. During the investigation, he said, "It is necessary to conduct the in-depth studies on Kuahuqiao Culture, and promote its development and prosperity."

Many important cultural relics were unearthed on the site, such as the earliest canoe in the world, and the wooden bow painted with lacquer, showing Kuahuqiao Culture from 8,000 years ago.

The museum can enable visitors to feel the wisdom of ancestors through interactive experience and immersive display. The culture highlights the characteristics of ancient Chinese sports culture, and shines with the sports spirit of Hangzhou.
