The Second China Meteorological Tourism Industry Development Conference was held a few days ago. As the New Meteorological Tourism City of China (2023), Hangzhou which just hosted the 19th Asian Games appeared at the conference and won the title of "2023 Online Hot Typical Case of Climatic Wellness (Summer/Winter Resort and Livable City)".

At the conference, the China Meteorological Tourism & Economic Development Institute released the China Tourism Development Report 2023. The report selects 60 cities among 159 cities with good climatic resources all over the country, and sets up 25 subdivision indexes to analyze and evaluate the sample cities, to form the Top 10 Meteorological Tourism Development Cities 2023.

Ranking first in the List of the Top 10 Cities, Hangzhou has been newly promoted as the "Meteorological Tourism City" together with Qingdao, Guilin, Tongren, Yantai, Kunming, Dalian, Chengde, Guiyang, and Nanning, becoming the typical representative of meteorological tourism in China.
