HANGZHOU, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Tianjin Bohai Bank will face Brazil's Dentil Praia Clube of Uberlandia in the 3rd-place match at the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, after losing to four-time winner VakifBank Spor Kulubu in straight sets here on Saturday.

VakifBank Spor Kulubu prevailed over the home side 25-16, 25-23, 25-23 to set up a final clash with Eczacibasi, who overcame Dentil Praia 25-16, 25-12, 25-27, 25-22 to reach their fourth Club World Championship final.

Gabriela Braga Guimaraes had a match-high 17 points for VakifBank and Jordan Thompson added 14. Wang Yizhu scored 13 points for Tianjin while Li Yingying had 11 points.

"We are delighted that we got a chance to compete with top-level clubs like VakifBank. They are good at attacking and blocking. We learned a lot from them," said Wang Baoquan, the head coach of Tianjin.
