The HSBC Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour Finals 2023 kicks off at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 13.

A total of 63 athletes participated in the BWF World Tour Finals, among them are Viktor Axelsen from Denmark, An Se Young from the Republic of Korea, and 10 players from China, including Chen Yufei in Women's Singles, and Shi Yuqi in Men's Singles.

The final games will be held on Dec 17.

The total prize money for this year's competition has increased to $2.5 million, the most ever for the BWF year-end finals, offering one of the largest cash prizes among badminton tournaments in recent years.
