Hangzhou International Airport has made significant achievements in 2023. It is expected to receive more than 40 million passengers again by the end of the year, making it one of the busiest airports in the world.

The airport has grasped opportunities brought by the 19th Asian Games, and has taken initiatives to get more policy support. In 2023, it opened the fifth freedom passenger air route which is the first one in Zhejiang. As of November, the annual inbound and outbound passengers reached 2.21 million.

Compared with Hangzhou, airports in other cities of Zhejiang have made breakthroughs too. The annual passengers of Ningbo's airport and Wenzhou's airport will also exceed 10 million, which shows rebound and growth of airline business in these cities.
