The Art of Life Exhibition 2023 opened in Winland Center of Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 6.
Initiated by the Business France in 2008, the exhibition has been held in cities around the world, including New York, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi, showcasing the charm and essence of French life.
Joan Valadou, Consul General of France in Shanghai, introduced that this year's exhibition gathers 17 French brands in fashion and home furnishing field, all of which are excellent representatives of France's tradition and innovation, including home furnishings, lighting fixtures, tableware, art ornaments and so on.
This exhibition provides visitors with a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of French life and experience the traditional art of French. What sets this exhibition apart is its close integration of exhibits and music. There is a different instrument in each exhibition zone, ranging from rock, jazz, electronic and classical music.
"China and France are both rich in culture. Culture and education have always played a very important role in our relationship, and art also serves as a bridge in cultural exchange," said Valadou.
Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and the two countries will jointly host the China-France Cultural Tourism Year. "We will hold more diverse activities between China and France in 2024, which will provide new opportunities to deepen the exchanges in culture, art and lifestyle," he said.
