During the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, Fuyang Water Sports Center and Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center hosted rowing, canoe sprint, canoe slalom, shooting, archery and modern pentathlon. How can the sports venues be utilized to the maximum extent in a post-Games era?  

Fuyang Water Sports Center will be turned into a water sports training base for young people in Hangzhou. It will host the first International Super Cup of Canoe and Kayak in October 2024. It will be the first world-class competition Hangzhou will host in a post-Games era. The holding of the competition will advance Hangzhou's efforts in building itself into a city of international competitions, amplify the comprehensive effects of the Hangzhou Asian Games and improve the city's image as an international city. 

In Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center, workers are dismantling temporary facilities including huts and spectators' seats. 

"After the Games, we began to remove these temporary facilities. Around 30 percent have been removed. It is expected that all of them will be dismantled before November 15. Leased supplies will also be returned. The department of support services in charge of asset management is taking a stock of various devices and supplies," said Zhou Jie, head of the installation team in Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center. 

"We will restore fixed facilities damaged in installing temporary facilities and then hand over the sports center to the venue management team for future plans," said Wu Xiao, deputy chief for facility maintenance in Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center. 

Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center will make full use of its professional venue facilities and experience in holding globally leading sports events, and have the operation of sports projects as the core of industrial development and venue utilization to grow competitive sports and sports economy.
