On November, 23, the Second Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) will kick off in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It will hold “Silk Road E-commerce Day” Activity for the first time, including international cooperation forum, theme pavilion, product promotion and livestream.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, while Hangzhou is an important city on the ancient Silk Road. In recent years, as the first cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot area of China, Hangzhou has accelerated the construction of Digital Silk Road Strategic Hub.

The event will invite envoys from 30 “Silk Road E-commerce” partner countries. Through the cooperation and livestream of e-commerce platforms, Hangzhou will help the excellent products of partner countries enter Chinese market, to further boost the economic and trade cooperation of the Belt and Road, and promote the development of local trade.
