A few days ago, a grand banquet was set up at Xiaohehi Street by the Gongshu District Xiaohe Subdistrict Office for people aged over 80 years. The "Double Ninth (Chongyang) Festival Banquet", which has been held for 22 sessions, has become one of the seven major cultural brands in the district, and is also an epitome of their services for the elderly.

The banquet, previously simply a treat, becomes this year a three-day voluntary event for seniors. A popular fair offers a range of products, such as educational wooden toys, smart products, and elderly tourism, which are useful and friendly to seniors. The “Memory of Glorious Old Days” was another well-received activity, in which people collect old photos, visit the places where the seniors used to live and worked, and film videos about their stories elders to narrate how they worked hard to support themselves and the families.
