On October 22, Yuhang District Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Sports Bureau said that the National Base for International Cultural Trade (Hangzhou) (hereinafter referred to as the "Base") was officially licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Commerce.

The Base is located in Liangzhu Digital Culture Community, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, and is the only selected base in Zhejiang Province. Closely following the requirements of the Guidelines for the Construction of National Bases for International Cultural Trade, the Base aims to promote culture to go global, and accelerates the building of an integrated and symbiotic development ecology of "digital + culture + tourism + trade". In accordance with the development layout of "connecting with Shanghai and integrating into the Yangtze River Delta, linking with cities, collaborating within the region and radiating to the circle", the Base responds to the national strategy of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and builds the Yangtze River Delta linkage pattern driven by Shanghai and Hangzhou. The Base will create a strategy of "a center, two belts and eight clusters" with Liangzhu as the core and by linking eight categories of cultural innovation industries. Focusing on relying on the China (Liangzhu) Digital Culture Community, the Base plays a leading role in demonstrating the digital cultural industry with games, film and television, animation, live streaming, and digital technology at its core, builds online and offline service platforms, and develops a multifaceted service system for international cultural trade.

Subsequently, with a focus on strengthening industrial agglomeration, the Base will promote the combination of culture, tourism and digital, science and technology, and consolidate the digital culture industry ecology. The role of culture in boosting tourism will be further played, and a world-class tourist destination will be built with a focus on sightseeing, leisure and holiday, cultural experience, and business conference and exhibition. The Base will strengthen its role in demonstration, build an overseas culture and tourism trade promotion center, and create a Hangzhou model for international culture trade.
