With the approaching of the 19th Asian Games, Hangzhou has increased the opening of sports venues in primary & middle schools. This year, the number of venues open to the public is up to 1,184. Among them, 905 outdoor sports venues are open to citizens free of charge, and 279 indoor venues are opened free of charge or at a lower ticket price.
After the opening of venues, the relevant services and guarantees are also provided. In order to be convenient for people to reserve the venue, Hangzhou optimizes the smart platform for campus fitness.
Each district tries its best to improve services. Gongshu District provides AEDs (automated external defibrillators) for campuses whose outdoor venues are open to the public; Yuhang District implements the reconstruction of "one venue with two passages" in pilot sports venues, and offers water dispensers, lockers, and other facilities. Binjiang District annually gives each school 100,000 yuan for campus opening management and facility & equipment maintenance and repair.
