The Large-scale Food Consumption Promotion Activity of Asian Food Season 2023 officially kicked off in Binjiang, Hangzhou, on August 11. Hangzhou cooperates with 50 countries and cities, including 45 countries participating in the Hangzhou Asian Games and 5 co-host cities of the Hangzhou Asian Games, to organize multiple Asian food theme events, recommend 500 Asian Food Season restaurants, such as Chinese Cuisine, Western Cuisine, Japanese Cuisine, Korean Cuisine, Southeast Asian Cuisine, and Arabic Cuisine, and present 5,000 Asian exquisite dishes, in order to create the food consumption carnival, drive the consumption of 50 billion yuan, and contribute to the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Starting from June this year, Hangzhou has implemented the relevant policies to promote the night economy. Hubin Pedestrian Street, Southern Song Imperial Street, Wulin Night Fair, and other urban night consumption areas have launched various consumption scenarios. The Asian Food Season will accelerate the growth of night consumption.
