On the morning of August 1, the National Academic Seminar on Accessible Environment Construction took place at Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University. During the seminar, the Hangzhou Disabled Persons' Federation launched the application scenarios for the "Accessible Service Online" program. It is specifically designed to aid people with impairments in navigating the city, communicating, and becoming an integral part of society.
The primary focus of the "Accessible Service Online" is to cater to the daily travel, communication, and cultural needs of people with impairments. By consolidating accessible resources available in Hangzhou, the program provides comprehensive and round-the-clock services, with the core features being accessible maps and smart online sign language translation. The ultimate objective is to assist people with impairments in achieving accessible travel and seamless communication during the Hangzhou Asian Games and Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
At present, the "Accessible Service Online" offers travel services, sign language translation, cultural and sports services, as well as digital assistance for people with impairments. Users can easily access the program by searching for "Accessible Service Online" on the Alipay app. They can select specific application scenarios and access the desired services through related modules.
