Speaking of javelin throw, Li Rongxiang, a former javelin throw athlete of Zhejiang, is undoubtedly a star in the sports world of Asia. He has competed in three consecutive Asian Games, and won the bronze medal of the men's javelin throw event at the Bangkok Asian Games in 1998, the gold medal of the men's javelin throw event at the Busan Asian Games in 2002, and the bronze medal of the Doha Asian Games in 2006.

Nowadays, Li Rongxiang still maintains his love for javelin throw, and acts as the javelin throw coach of Zhejiang College of Sports.

For the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, he hopes that China's young players can take this event as a starting point to challenge the world stage.
