A few days ago, Hangzhou released the latest online car-hailing policies. The policies will be implemented from July 17, to provide passengers with better travel experience.
The policies strengthen the vehicle-mounted equipment and data access requirements to facilitate digital supervision. They specify that the online car-hailing services need to use new vehicles, and require the use of new energy battery electric vehicles conforming to the relevant requirements, or non-new energy battery electric vehicles at the purchase price of above 150,000 yuan, in order to meet the medium & high-level online car-hailing market demands, and improve the overall vehicle performance and operation safety & comfort.
