On June 14, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History held the seminar on the first anniversary for the 24-hour opening of the museum. The experts and scholars of the museum circle gathered here to provide the opinions and suggestions for better meeting needs of visitors.
Since last year, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History has been open to the public 24 hours a day, becoming the first state-owned museum of China to conduct the normalized opening at night. In the past one year, the museum has received over 350,000 tourists, and launched nearly 150 characteristic inquiry-based learning activities. Every quarter, it updates approximately 50 exhibits to timely present the latest collections and research achievements so that audiences can enjoy the latest results as soon as possible.
