Just after the May Day Holiday, the prices of tourism formats, including air tickets, hotels and guesthouses, have been significantly reduced. The consumption wave of post-holiday off-peak tours has taken shape.

The recent data from the online tourist consumption platform (Ctrip) show that, the air ticket prices from Hangzhou to Sanya, Chengdu, Xi'an, Beijing and other popular destinations, reflect an obvious fall. Some are as low as 90 discount and are cheaper than those of high-speed trains. Accordingly, the prices of hotels and guesthouses in tourist destinations are decreased, which is a good time for tourists' off-peak tours.

Among the groups suitable for off-peak tours, in addition to retirees and college students who have ample leisure time and are sensitive to prices, many office workers select the off-peak tours through annual leave, compensatory leave and other methods to avoid congestion and better enjoy their travels.
