In mid-April, the Chinese roses in the overpasses of Hangzhou are in full bloom.
Since 2009, under the active advocacy of the Hangzhou Municipal Garden Relics Bureau, Hangzhou has begun to promote the growth of Chinese roses in various types of greenbelts in urban areas. After 14 years of development, Hangzhou owns a total of 2.15 million Chinese rose varieties of over 40 varieties.
Hangzhou is particularly outstanding in growing Chinese roses along the overpasses. After years of practice, Hangzhou has concluded a set of mature systems for "Chinese roses on overpass" growth, maintenance, and management. As it already reached a high level in the whole of China, and the model has been learned and copied by many cities.
