Hangzhou Qiantang High-speed Rail Town Development Co., Ltd. co-organized by Hangzhou Transport Investment Group and Qiantang District People’s Government, officially unveiled its nameplate on March 21. This indicated that Hangzhou will commence the construction of Qiantang High-speed Rail Town with coverage of 8.8 square kilometers and has made a new breakthrough in the eastward expansion.

Qiantang High-speed Rail Town is located in the key development area of Qiantang District in Hangzhou. With Qiantang High-speed Rail Station as the center, Qiantang High-speed Town has a planning and studying area of 18.3 square kilometers, including about 8.8 square kilometers jointly developed by the city and the district. 

Upon completion, it will break through bottlenecks to enhance the overall position of the town and even Qiantang District, upgrade the quality and energy level of the city, attract more talents, industries and high-quality resources and accelerate common prosperity in urban and rural areas.
