On February 6, the National Shooting Championship 2023 was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. It was the first competition at the first stage of trials for international shooting events in 2023. In the women's 10m air rifle match, players from Zhejiang took the first, second and third places of the event. This was the first champion for Zhejiang Team in the National Shooting Championship.

At the qualifying competition on the morning of that day, Zhang Qiongyue, an athlete from Jilin (born in 2004), made the striking score of 637.5 points in the women's 10m air rifle event, and this result was 2.2 points higher than the world record. Zhejiang Player Huang Yuting ranking the second also surpassed the world record. Olympic Champion Yang Qian ranked the ninth and failed to enter the finals.

In the finals, Han Jiayu, a young player from Zhejiang, took the lead in getting 16 points and became the champion of the women's 10m air rifle event. Huang Yuting won the silver medal and Wang Zhilin seized the bronze medal. Zhang Qiongyue finished the fourth and missed the medal.
