Full River Red, a Chinese domestic movie directed by Zhang Yimou, became a hit during the Spring Festival. The movie is about the stories of Yue Fei, a patriotic general in the Southern Song Dynasty. Located in Yuejiawan where the descendants of Yue Fei ever lived, Hangzhou Dacheng Yuejiawan Experimental School aims to cultivate students' spirit of patriotic service to the country with "Yuejiajun" as the role model. 

On the afternoon of February 6, the school held the opening ceremony with the theme of "cultivating both civil and military arts, and carrying forward loyalty and righteousness".

Wearing Han Chinese clothing, the students (each held a pen in hand) jointly completed the tracing of Full River Red, a famous Ci poetry written by Yue Fei. 

Then, the students performed the wonderful martial art of Yue Style Boxing, one of the traditional Chinese boxing skills that had been completely carried down. It was created by National Hero Yue Fei based on his knowledge and practical experience in the actual combats against enemies. 

The performance of civil and military arts at the opening ceremony showed the school’s expectation of cultivating students who were versed in both civil and military arts.
