Hangzhou has recently unveiled the sixth round of supporting policies for animation and cartoon industry and has included esports into the industry for the first time. It is expectd that Hangzhou will be built into the international capital of animation and cartoon and the famous esports city by 2025. 

Hangzhou is China's first city to promote integrated innovation of "cartoon and animation +", "game +", "esports +" and "metaverse +" from government level, and it is also the first city to push forward the construction of international cutting-edged infrastructure for esports competitions available for ten thousand people. 

The esports competition of Hangzhou Asian Games to be staged next year will culminate the development of esports industry. With more funds and talents to be involved according to the current policies, Hangzhou will speed up the pace in its pursuit.
